Two new products this year, "Kid Milk" is designed only for goat kids and a smaller Milk Machine, Be’Be’-Lac. The Be’Be’-Lac is a smaller version of the Lac-Tek machine and feeds up to 40 kids/lambs. I think this is the right size for a lot of people and comes at less cost. Both the "Lamb and Kid Milk" and the "Kid Milk" contain Deccox and additionally they will contain CitriStim (thought to increase animals ability to prevent infections causing diarrhea.)
The major portion of our ingredients is skim milk, it gives animals a much better opportunity to prevent abomasal bloat. We recommend our products second to none. Remember to make palatable creep feed and water available and always wean at 30 days.
You make a pick, either machine works depending on number of lambs/kids. One thing is for sure, have a backup plan. Buckets with nipples would be my priority. I have an extra machine and haven’t had to use it for two years. Machine comes with a six-month warranty but that doesn't help lambs or kids when the machine malfunctions. We will do our best to walk you through it, we maintain an inventory of parts but the warranty work is the responsibility of the manufacturer.
We are searching for ways to make our milk products more available. Freight is always a problem but can be minimized by volume purchase. We have offered a price break for 12, 6, 1 and less than one-ton shipments. This can apply to large producers, dealers and small producers that can group their purchases with others.
